BLOCK MUSEUM PRINT FAIR OFFERS DEMOS, ON-THE-SPOT T-SHIRT PRINTING, THE DUMBO PRESS, AFFORDABLE PRINTS, & MORE!

Prints aren’t mass reproductions of someone else’s art. They are original works of art created by artists. Come see how they are made, what makes them so special and find contemporary and affordable ones to take and wear home at Printpalooza—a print fair at the Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art on Saturday, January 29, from noon to 4 pm.

You’ll see live printmaking demonstrations by independent artists from Drive By Press and Cannonball Press. Shop for their art work and for prints from Chicago’s Spudnik Press, with prices starting under $20. Pick up t-shirts printed on-the-spot with original designs, find unique publications from Comix Revolution and check out artist Eric Fuertes’s Dumbo Press!

DJs from abstract science will provide music. Attendance is free and activities will be going on all afternoon, so you can stop by anytime.
