In a world frought with personal agendas, some artists just try to avoid the battles and make art. René Romero Schuler is this artist. In her abstract expressionistic style, René creates exquisite oil paintings that are full of color, life, and depth—embarking on subjects that speak to the heart of the human condition.
René Romero Schuler has been working professionally as an artist in the Chicago area since 1986. Immediately out of high school, René began accepting commissions from local interior design firms for paintings for lobbies and offices throughout Chicago. Later expanding into mural and faux finish work, René brought her talents to some of the most popular and well attended restaurants and nightclubs.
René has also been profiled in numerous publications, including the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Social Magazine, Forest & Bluff Magazine, Sheridan Road Magazine, Nightclub and Bar Magazine, Hospitality Design Magazine, Pioneer Press, Gazebo News, North Shore Magazine and the Chicago Reader.
