Concertina Gallery is gone, but The Exhibition Agency has arrived
As you may know, Concertina has closed. However, beginning in August, Corinna Kirsch will begin using the space to unveil her most recent curatorial venture, The Exhibition Agency. Please see the website or description below for more information.
In August, Katherine, Francesca, and Corinna will attend ACRE to discuss long-distance curatorial projects. This fall Francesca plans to open an apartment gallery in St. Louis’ Cherokee Street neighborhood. Katherine is a guest curator at Quarterly Site #3: Stay In Your Lane!, currently on view at Swimming Pool Project Space. And in the near future, Corinna Kirsch is curating an exhibition at The Soap Factory slated to open in May 2011.

The Exhibition Agency
The Exhibition Agency engages with contemporary art through curatorial initiatives and exhibition production. It is located on the top floor of a two-story greystone that formerly housed the Star Concertina Manufacturing Company. The curatorial program for the 2010 – 2011 season is entitled The New Authentics. The first exhibition for the season, Uncrumpling This Much Crumpled Thing, will open Saturday, August 28.
